The current fee structure is as follows:
Acupuncture
Flat rate £65 per session.
Chinese herbal medicine
For adults:
Flat rate between £8 to 16 per week for tablet or capsule formulae.
£65 per week for a tailor-made concentrated powdered prescription.
For children:
Flat rate between £4 to £8 per week for tablet or capsule formulae.
£32.50 per week for a tailor-made concentrated powdered prescription.
Consultation only
For a consultation to talk through your situation and provide advice, the fee is £45.
If you decide to have acupuncture or powdered Chinese herbal medicine on the same day, then this fee is waived and you will only be charged for the treatment.
If you decide to have tablet or capsule medicine on the same day, this does not apply and you will still need to pay the consultation fee please.
Health insurance
Many private health insurance companies are now covering acupuncture and a few will also pay for herbal treatments.
